The Ballad of Bonder Thrashman Fitzqualudes
A new comedic play written & directed by Fletcher Michael & presented by Infinite Monkey Theater Co. as part of the 2026 Manifestival
The Ballad of Bonder Thrashman Fitzqualudes is a picaresque comedy involving a bastardization of Christopher Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus inside a rip-off of the Frankenstein tale inside a made-up sports story inside a satire of the New York theater industry.
After receiving a scholarship to an MFA playwriting program as a prize for winning the Apartment Ball World Championship, Bonder avoids expulsion by agreeing to have his brain swapped with the recovered brain of the Renaissance playwright Christopher Marlowe in a plan overseen by the secretly sinister Tony Award-winning playwright and MFA faculty member, Ferrence Tape, who has sold his soul to Satan for designs of his own.

piss.jpg (Working Title) is an absurd, hour-long, 2-handed romp written by and starring Justin Jager and Michael Gardiner (directed by Dan Yaiullo) set in a kitchen with a sink that would make Arthur Miller climax and Eugene O’Neill smile. The enormity and profundity of what these two men explore and discover (and feel!) on the American Stage is literally impossible to explain and to do so would likely crash the world economy. Let’s not do that.
